Need to regularly send the same documents to different signers? Adding the same set of annotations over and over again is not effective and time-consuming. To boost your productivity and automate the e-sign process KeepSolid Sign allows you to create document templates. Here’s our step-by-step guide on how to use the Templates feature of our esignature solution.

Creating templates in the iOS version of KeepSolid Sign

There are two ways you can create a document template.

Method 1: Creating a template on the Documents tab

Step #1. First, create a document and add the necessary annotations (these include text, dates, initials, signatures, and checkmarks).

Step #2. Long press the required document and tap on the menu that will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Step #3. Then, tap Add to templates.

Note: In case you logged out of the app and did not open the document after log in, you may see the below message. Click Download to proceed with the template creation.

Done! Now, your document template has been added to the Templates tab of KeepSolid Sign app.

Method 2: Creating document templates on the Templates tab

Step #1. Go to the Templates tab and tap in the top right corner.

Step #2. Choose Add templates option in the menu that appears.

Step #3. Select the document you wish to turn into a template and tap

That’s it! Your template has been created and is already viewable on the Templates tab.

Using document templates

You need to put just a few finishing touches to your document template before sending it to your partners, colleagues, or clients.

Step #1. Open the required document template and tap the button in the top right corner. The document template will be automatically added to the Documents tab as a draft.

Step #2. Tap Next to start editing your document template.

Step #3. Appoint signers, add extra annotations if required, and when your document is ready to go, send it for signing.
