How to create an electronic signature?

To add a signature to a PDF with KeepSolid Sign, you have to first set up a free trial for the app and then create a signature in it. Creating an eSignature is quite simple when using the proper tools for this. The exact set of steps may vary by the solution, but usually it comes down to either:

  • drawing your own signature using the app’s visual interface
  • downloading it as an image
  • or taking a picture of your real-life signature and importing it to the service.

Our signature app supports all of the aforementioned methods - you can create a brand new signature, import one to the app (currently only possible for iOS and macOS users), or scan a signature with your iOS or Android device. There are also plenty of customization options, so you will absolutely be able to make a signature to your liking.

Fut fact: Did you know that you have been using electronic signatures for decades now?
ESIGN act defines an electronic signature as “an electronic sound, symbol, or process attached to or logically associated with a record and executed or adopted by a person with the intent to sign the record.” So, technically, every time you click I agree when accepting Terms of Use of any program or service, you eSign it.

To create a new signature within KeepSolid Sign, launch the app, click My Signature, and there draw your signature and/or initials. It will be saved to your account, and from now on you will only have to click a Sign button when reviewing a document to electronically sign it. With our app, you can sign all sorts of PDF documents - contracts, NDAs, bills, partnership agreements, purchase orders, and so on.
